Polished plaster is extremely simple to maintain. It can be easily cleaned and does not scuff or stain like paint work. If there is damage to an area it can easily be touched up without having to redecorate entire walls.
Because the plaster is breathable it prevents mildew and mould from growing which is better for your lungs. Lime has a high pH acting as an antibacterial surface which is why polished plaster makes a great choice for kitchens and bathrooms.
